Trujillo
Northern city located at 569 km. From Lima. It was chosen as the favorite of the Spanish aristocracy, perhaps because of its eternal spring climate. Trujillo was also home to the ancient pre-Inca culture Chimu. To this day maintains the harmony of its colonial architecture, its colorful mansions and churches, wrought iron balconies, remain intact. Two kilometers from the city can be found, the largest mud city of America, called Chan Chan. it was the capital city of the Chimu empire was extinguished by being conquered by the Incas.
