Tambopata Eco Lodge 04Days / 03 nights
Day 1
PUERTO MALDONADO -TAMBOPATA LODGE (A, C)
Reception at the airport by our naturalist guide to be transferred to our boat and begin the trip up the Tambopata River to the lodge. We'll watch the vegetation changes from colonized deforested areas to virgin rain forest . Upon arrival a welcome drink will be offered. In the evening after a pleasant lunch will walk as an introduction to" mainland "by the forest behind the lodge (Trail 2), dominated by giant chestnut trees and trees Dipteryx. Mammals that are more often on this trail are Saddle monkey or lion and Martin Brown Capuchins and many other species of fauna and flora typical of the forest. Day 2
WALK TO LAKE CONDEMNED (D, A, C)
After breakfast a short boating until the start of the trail. We start the hike and explore the jungle, we will take a canoe to paddle down the lakes Condemned 1 and 2. These lakes are rich in birds and aquatic life, families of giant otters or river wolves live in the lake and are often seen. In the afternoon, you can explore the forest near the lodge (with or without your guide) or relax and swim in the Gallocunca a cool clear stream beside the lodge the evening you will go, go in search of alligators and other nocturnal animals by motorized canoe along the Tambopata River
Day 3
WALK TO LAKE Sachavacayoc (LAKE sachavacas) (D, A, C)
After breakfast a short boating until the start of the trail. In the walk your guide will explain more aspects of the tropical rain forest and its animals. Once in the lake, you may find the elusive black caiman, giant river otters, macaws, among others . will return for lunch The afternoon is free for relaxation and bathing.
Day 4
DEPARTURE (D)
