Ceiba Tops 03Days / 02 Nights
Day 1
MONDAY / IQUITOS - CEIBA TOPS (A, C)
Reception at the airport, brief city orientation and transfer to the Explorama dock road. 40km trip down the Amazon River to Ceiba Tops, where rooms with air conditioning and private baths with hot water provide the comforts home in the rainforest. Afternoon hike around a beautiful primary forest surrounded by large trees like the giant Ceiba tree, which gave its name to the lodge. After dinner enjoy local flute or guitar music in the Bar "El Tucan" or the guides are always ready to relate some of the many legends of the Amazon.
Day 2
TUESDAY / CEIBA TOPS (D, A, C)
early morning excursion for those who wish to see birds. After breakfast, boat excursion looking for the two types of river dolphins, gray and pink, on the way to visit a small village of Yagua Native where your guide will explain their culture. There will be opportunity to see some of the local crafts and for a demonstration of the blowgun, which now, some of the Yagua elders still use for hunting. In the afternoon excursion to the neighboring town Indiana and if the weather is good, you can appreciate the sunset on the Amazon River.
Day 3
WEDNESDAY / CEIBA TOPS - IQUITOS (B, A)
walking or boating to further enjoy the Amazon free time to enjoy the facilities in the jungle jungle or excursion. Return to Iquitos for your flight to Iquitos. Lunch (if departure flight permits ).
