Day 1

Cusco - Cachora - Santa Rosa

Pick up from hotel early to go by bus to Cachora During the trip we will pass through the villages of Izcuchaca, Zurite and Limatambo.. Cross the mighty Apurimac River bridge on Cunyac Our route starts at Square Cachora (2,910 meters), where we will know the carrier to take the mules to carry the camping gear and backpacks pax the first section runs through farmland where we will observe agricultural work will continue towards the viewpoint (Capuliyoc 3300 m) where we can observe the Apurimac River Canyon and Choquequirao between clouds and mountains enjoy extraordinary views of the mountains of the Cordillera Vilcabamba highlighting the snowy Salkantay (6,271 meters). Pass by Chikiska where we can observe fruit plantations and enjoy the pesky mosquitoes that accompany us throughout the route, then we continue towards Playa Rosalina where we will enjoy lunch (1500 m) after lunch we continue towards Santa Rosa, where we will camp.

Day 2

Santa Rosa - Maranpata - Choquequirao

After enjoying a hearty breakfast we will continue our walk upwards to Maranpata (3300 m) on the route can enjoy the flora and fauna and different waterfalls coming from the snow and Padrayoq I run all the way until reaching the mighty Apurimac River, once Maranpata come to enjoy the delicious lunch and we can appreciate the wonderful view offered by this viewpoint, after lunch continue our route to Choquequirao.
